Hope you guys are having a great weekend.... I know I'm certainly enjoying it with the cool weather here in Florida :).
Anywho.... scrappy Mom's has release 2 must have sets! Check them out below...

So I have been super busy lately creating..... Haven't been posting as I'm mass producing baby shower invitations. I'm so excited to announce that my hubby and I are expecting our first baby in July! :). Hence the MIA lately due to the 1st trimester great feel :D. But now my energy level is back up and I feel great!

So for today's sneak peak... I wanted to show off the mini message stamp set on the Thank You's I've been creating. I only have 2 months till the shower so i' m trying to get everything done sooner than later. The theme is bumble bee :).

They're mini milk cartons that will be filled with M&M's! I cut my Thank You stamp set in half so that it could fit in the circle.

Hey everyone!

It's that time of the month.... Scrappy Mom's Terrific Tuesday Challenge!

For this week, the challenge is to use a heart as the main part of the project.

This weekend I was browsing blogs for inspiration and came across this idea. Unfortunately I cannot remember the blog name to give them credit but if I come across it... I will certainly post it. Now that blogger used sprinkles, however I was out of sprinkles so I used Red Sugar Crystals. And it's just so easy to do!

Makes a shaker card!!! Just use some window sheets and super strong adhesive!

Hey everyone!!

I hope you are enjoying your weekend! I just realized that I never posted my 2 cards that I made last weekend using the new Crazy for you! So here they both are:

Used the Sweet Treats cartridge for the cake slice with some stickles and Scrappy Mom's Twine

For this card I wanted it simply and for the biggest heart to stand out. The heart stamp is from the Crazy for You Stamp set and the extra hearts are punches. Also used the double Scrappy Mom's Twine again :)

Hey everyone!! Im sure most of you may have seen that Scrappy Moms have released yet another fantastic set! This is perfect to make any projects for the coffee or tea lovers! Check it out below!

As I'm still in Orlando for my hubby's Annual military banquet, I have very limited supples. I grabbed some scraps, ink, the Freshly Brewed set, one other stamp set, glue and colored pencils.

Hey everyone!!! Sorry for the MIA recently.... Things in our home have been alittle crazy and we are getting ready for my hubby's annual military banquet this weekend!

I did want to share with you my project for TTC.... Our challenge this week was to create a 3D project. I saw this project on Dawns stampin thoughts and thought it was just perfect for my friends from work and a very inexpensive gift :). They hold Halloween themed mini hand sanitizer bottles.

I hope your having a great Saturday! I'm sure while you all are reading this, I will be at work (boo hoo for me) but you all have tons of amazing projects from the Scrappy Mom Sisters!

Unfortunately, I do not have a completely finished project to show you. This past week I've been taking my time and working on a Paper bag mini album. This is my very first one, so its taking me a little while but Kathy, from Paper Phenomenon, has absolutely fantastic tutorials on Ustream.tv!! She's my inspiration.

So, as my album isn't quite done yet...I thought I'd share with you all a few tags and one page that has been completed. I hope you guys enjoy it and I'll be sure to film a video once the whole album is done.

The paper stack and chipboard pieces are from K&Company Spooktacular Collection that came out last Halloween but I just LOVE the paper :)

Scrappy Mom's Sneak Peak!!!

Happy Friday Everyone!!!

I must say TGIF!!! This week I've been crazy busy at work and staying MUCH later than usual and its totally throwing me in a funk! But the week will be over by the end of the day! HOORAY!!

Welcome to another Release for Scrappy Mom's Stamps!! Tammy and Mel have done it yet again with 2 NEW stamp sets that are just absolutely FANTASTIC! You have one for your Sports themed projects--GAME DAY and the very exciting Halloween Set -- BEWITCHED!

Today, I'm using the Game Day for My Project.

At work as while back I was able to get some precut cards for an AMAZING price!!! Each pack contains 25 -- 5.5" x 5.5" and I got them for $1.00 Each!! What a steal :) Of course I got one of each color that was available. These are great because not only are they sturdy, but they can be cut down to any size that you would like!

I then took my barely used Nate's ABC to make the cut for my card. And there is the finished product.

And I got to use my new tool that I just got in the mail today!!! The SewEasy tool by WeRMemories...so my stitching isn't perfect but i LOVE the way it looks and adds to the card! I went a little crazy when I ordered the floss ;)

As some of you may already know, the TTC for this week is to use Country Life! I've been needing a little extra inspiration or direction lately, so I turned to a fantastic Magazine that I won as a giveaway last year.

Sometimes, you just need a little guidance and thats what I love about sketch books/magazines.....below is the sketch I decided to go with.

And here is the card that I came up with....I have to admit that I do not Love this card....but its something different than I normally create and thus i'm happy with it :)

Sorry I've been gone for a little while.... The last few weeks have been a little busy with company, but it has certainly been fun!!

Over the last week, I've been brainstorming and working on a Frame for my desk at work. I found a wooden frame at Michael's for $1. I started out by painting it white.

I then chose 4 different pieces of pattern paper. For this card, I used DCWV "The Mod-Retro" paper pack and cut 1.5" x 1.5" squares. Lay them out randomly. (I used Scotch Quick Dry Glue and it worked GREAT!!!)

Here is the flame completely covered and trimmed.

And then I just embellished the frame and added a photo from our Vacation in Grand Cayman!!

PPA Challenge

Happy Sunday Everyone!

Hope you are all are enjoying the last day of the weekend....I know I'm not ready to go back to work yet!! But I'm excited for the end of this week, as my cousin and his girlfriend are coming down to visit!!!

I thought that I would try to join in on a couple of challenges this week. Challenges tend to give me "focus" or "direction" for a card.....makes it a little easier for me ;)

So I thought Id join in on the PPA Challenge this week (paper pals art). Its a sketch challenge and it gave me the change to use one of my most recently purchased Stampin' Up! Stamps --Up, Up, and Away! Of source, I paired it up with a Scrappy Mom's Sentiment :)

I cut out 3 scalloped squares using my Big Shot in white and sponged them in a light blue to give it a sky feel. I think heat embossed the clouds in White, using the create a cupcake stamp set. The clouds are really the cup cake top....love to use my stamps in different ways :)

I hope that your enjoy your weekend, hopefully with family and friends!! My brother in law spent the night at our house last night and we went out to dinner and watched a Movie. I love family bonding time :)

Showing off Happy Campers and color coach

Hey Everyone!!

Hope your enjoying your weekend. I thought I would show all another card that I created for sneak peaks but forgot to post. I used the Happy Campers stamp set with Stampin' UP! Under the Stars stamp set.

I wanted to show you all the Color Coach that Stampin' UP! has, as it's been the greatest crafting companion for me. I always have trouble pairing up colors when it comes to cards and crafts. I generally start with patterned paper and work off of that. But some times I just need to put together a quick card and dont have time for brainstorming. In comes the color coach.

The color coach has all of the stampin up colors listed on one side so that you can see what color you most want to use. For my card, I know I wanted use a blue but it had to be something that went with brown to work well with my bear that I had stamped.

This is the opposite side of the full colored card...it shows your the best combination that works with the primary color selected. So the bashful blue matched exactly what I was looking for. I could use the "sweet pair" which would include a light blue, dark brown, and light green. So if you have trouble picking out color combinations....the color coach may be a handy tool to keep in your crafting corner. It sits in my caddy for easy access at all times.

And here is my completed card. I used the bear from the Under the Stars stamp set. I tried something new in heat embossing black for my colored in image to avoid the image from bleeding.....worked great and I love that the outline stands out so much. The bear was colored using ink and an aqua painter. I then used some brown twin and the decorative label punch for my sentiment. I think the added paper piercing and eyelets really completed the sentiment and card.

Home Decor Project

Hey everyone!!!

Hope your all doing well. I thought that I would share a quick home decor project that I recently completed. Our spare bedroom has been looking extremely bare since we moved in and I thought I'd create a quick and inexpensive project.

I purchased a pack of canvases from Michaels this weekend while they were on sale. I took 3 of them and laid them side by side. Wanted painters tape but couldn't find it so I used electrical tape.

Our spare bedroom's bedspread has 4 colors on it and I used some acrylic paint I had in the house. I just painted each spot sparatically.

The finished product! I think it turned out pretty good for only costing $5 and it will be hung above the bed.

Fourth of July centerpiece

Hey everyone!!! Hope that you all have had a fantastic week!! I'm currently in the car on the way to the airport....we'll be leaving for the GrandCayman islands soon:). But before I go, I wanted to share some creations with you.

Despite all of the cleaning up and packing, I managed to make a quick and simple centerpiece for the forth of July. And you can make it with stuff you have in your home! I used an old pickle jar, sand, pebbles, ribbon, lollipop sticks, brads, and card stock. I located a YouTube video on how to make a pinwheel and just changed up the sizes. Hope you guys enjoy it!!!

Hey everyone!! I hope your having a great week and preparing for the Holiday!! I'm getting ready for my families arrive in Florida on Thursday and our trip to Grand Cayman starting next Saturday!!! So excite but needless to say, I e been busy buying last minute things and getting the house organized.

I do apologize about posting the TTC Challenge so late. I'm sure you all know that the challenge this week was to use Stand an Salute in honor of the 4th!! Here is my project.

I hope that you had a great week and are enjoying the weekend!! I'm having a great weekend.....my cousin, who is like a brother to me, surprised me and showed up in Florida on Thursday!!!!! He and my sneaky hubby planned the whole surprise and it was amazing! So we have been going out and today we'll be going to the beach.

Hello Everyone!!!

It has been quite some time since I have been posted....Sorry that I have been missing in action. As you know I've been super sick and am just not finally getting over it. Still have a cough but am feeling TONS better! Thank you to you all who sent Get Well Wishes. This past weekend we celebrated my hubby's 25th birthday---man is he getting old! HAHAHA....Thought I'd add in a picture of him. This picture was taken only about 2 weeks after we started dating, back in 2006 (he looks so young!)

I was crazy and started to watch Extreme Couponing....have you all seen it?!? If so, what do you think about it?? Well, I now strive to save extreme bucks on groceries and its started to consume some time....here is my craft space cluttered with coupons!!! This is why I've been MIA! LOL

Ok, Onto the real reason your here!!!! Scrappy Mom's Newest Set Sneak Peak!!!!! SOOO EXCITED! Now this set is a must for all your summer fun that will be happening soon....its called "Sun Kissed". Take a peak at the whole set below.

I decided that I wanted to show how this set can be used for other things besides Summer Fun....although I will be making a quite a few summer projects with this one. Hey Everyone!!!

I want to first thank you all for the get well wishes....they truly mean a lot. I'm still a bit under the weather and now the hubby is catching it so I've been taking care of him as well. I'm sorry that I've been majorly MIA recently. I hope to be back to some type of schedule soon.

As you know, Scrappy Mom's has released another FABULOUS set called Happily Ever After. Its perfect for any princess :) This is the first time that I'll be showcasing it. For today's Terrific Tuesday Challenge, we had to use the Once Upon A Princess Cartridge. My project is very simply and doesn't use the cartridge much. I came up with a little gift box. Perfect for perhaps a birthday party as thank you gifts to the princess who joined the party. I put in the box a bracelet, just to give you an idea.

Terrific Tuesday Challenge for Scrappy Mom's!

Hey Everyone!!

I hope that you all had a great weekend and a Happy Easter! I'm sorry that I've been Totally MIA this past week. We have been absolutely Swamped at work and I randomly decided to change my craft corner around pretty drastically. Its taken me forever to organize it and get everything where it needs to be to my liking. My hubby is also going to be working on some shelves to put within my Expedite to create more space within each cube. So the organize has been keeping me pretty busy. I'll be sure to post pictures soon!

Any ways.....Its Terrific Tuesday Challenge time!!! This weeks challenge was to use the Paisley Cricut Cartridge. As I've mentioned, my hubby recently let me go on a Major Stampin' Up! shopping spree and I'm still getting around to using everything. So today, I decided to stray from the card. Cookies and Milk are the PERFECT combination......they are "So Happy Together!", well at least in my tummy they are :)

The milk carton is from Smiley Card Cartridge and the chocolate chip cookies are from From My Kitchen. I added glossy accents to the chocolate chips to make them look melted and to the spilled milk.

Hello Everyone!!!

Welcome to another Terrific Tuesday Challenge for Scrappy Mom's!

So this weeks challenge was to use the Smiley Card's Cartridge! I'm glad this was the challenge because I like to try and create different things. So I made sure to remove all of the "faces" and tried to change it up a bit.

My sister is going to turn 17 on Thursday....HOLY MOLEY I'm getting old!!! Well, she will be going to take her driving test to get her license.....good golly stay out of JERSEY! LOL I thought I'd make her a card that doubles up as a Birthday and Good Luck Card. Plus, I got the chance to use my Animal Print Paper!!! My sister school has a cheetah for their mascot so I thought the cheetah paper was VERY appropriate. The cupcake is from a Stampin' Up! stamp set that I just recently got....Let me just say that I went a little crazy on my last order! lol so y'all should be seeing more of their products in my up and coming projects.

Episode 30- meat sauce

Hey Everyone!!! I've FINALLY learned how to use my IMovie on my new Macbook and I LOVE it!! So I thought I'd take one of my older videos and have it edited and uploaded. Absolutely NOTHING to do with paper crafting but the next best thing.....Food! :) My hubby wanted me to make sure I mention that he approves of this recipe and thus you should try it. It only takes about 1 hour in total from start to finish to complete, and 45 minutes of that hour you only need to stir occasionally. I unfortunately do not have time to make meatballs with noodles as making the meatballs is time consuming. Thus the need for a meat sauce recipe. I hope y'all enjoy it and let me know what you think after you've tried it.

Happy Tuesday! Today is Momo's Tuesday Challenge and man was it a challenge! This weeks challenge is to find something that inspires you, such as a photo, and make a project with that inspiration. The below picture is my inspiration. Gem is a schnoodle and my baby, as we don't have kids yet :)

The is the card that I created. I got the layout from Mojo Monday....Thought I'd make it a double challenge for me LOL.

The dog is from Nate's ABC and the Circles are from Accent Essentials. The stamp set is from Scrappy Mom's Amusing Animal. Hey everyone! Sorry that I have been missing lately. Jesse and I are taking advantage of the gorgeous weather we're having here in Florida. We went to the Greek festival and Lee county fair with friends this weekend. Jesse also just bought me a MacBook which I'm still trying to learn. LOL I've been a PC ever since I used and owned a computer. So I'm trying to learn the imovie and edit a cooking video I made.

So I just wanted to say...I'm still here and will be posting my card for Momo's challenge tomorrow after work.

I truely hope that your enjoying the Scrappy Mom's Sneak Peaks for Furry Friends from all the Scrappy Mom Sista's! They are amongst the most crazy group of women I've ever seen and am so honored be on the design team with them!!

Anywho...To another card using the Furry Friends set. This card is again, very simple, and easy to make. Lately, i've been noticing that my cards have been getting simpler....I think I need to bust out the layers again :D

Hello Everyone and Welcome to another Momo's Tuesday Challenge. This week, the theme was Hearts and Black, Pink, and White.

If anyone knows me.....I'm not a girly girl who LOVES pink. LOL I'm all about the blues and greens :) However, Challenges are for pushing you out of your comfort zone. With Valentine's Day not too far away, I was ok with playing with pink paper :) But I couldn't help but add a little bit of green!!! I know, I know I cheated a little bit. LOL

If you are not aware, Scrappy-Mom's has put out another FANTASTIC set of stamps and I'm currently in the process of creating for this week's sneak peaks! GOOD NEWS!! My Office has FINALLY moved to our new locations!!! WAHOOO...now I only have a 1/2 hour drive! Thank goodness! So I should be posting more soon!!!

Anyways....for those who didn't know, last Sunday was my birthday! I'm soooo stinkin' old! lol. We'll I woke up on Sunday to the greatest birthday preset--An Email From Madison's Mom!!!!! If you were one of the great people who created cards and sent gifts this is for you!!! Hope you guys enjoy it, I know I was certainly touched by it!

To Trisha and Your Scrapbook Friends,

I didn’t forget about you. Life has been hectic. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the ingenuously adorned cards. When Madison saw the boxes roll in and the numerous cards and gifts pour out, she smiled. It may not seem like much, but when our child was in such pain that she couldn’t conjure up a mire grin in weeks, this statement takes on a whole new meaning. We were all (including Uncle Pete and Daddy) simply amazed at the amount of time, effort and creativity that was heartwarmingly placed into each and every card.

For a while, we used the cards as a distraction for Madison. At the time the chemo drug she was taking was making her anxious and thus nauseous. Each day, following the pills, we would pull out a pile of cards and read them to her to help her forget her worries. We would even take to the map to pinpoint where the cards originated.

Trisha, we are grateful that you coordinated such a thoughtful gift. We are thankful for all your scrapbook friends who gave so much of themselves to make Maddie smile. Bob and I will never forget your kind and generous efforts.

It's My Party Blog Hop!

Hey Everyone!!

Happy "It's My Party Blog Hop"!! I'm so excited that Alex from You Had Me At Craft asked me to participate in this Blog Hop.....as my birthday was just this past weekend :)

You should have just arrived from the oh so talented Tracey from CraftJunkieToo's Blog, however, if your just starting our with me you'll want to start our fabulous host, Alex's Blog.

So normally I lean to a more...how should I put this...Girly projects? LOL But tonight I was totally in a boy mood and decided to create a Birthday Card for a Special Birthday Boy.

I must warn you that my card is OH SO simple BUT what crafter doesn't like an easy card to whip up in those last minutes??? I know I sure do!

My Card measures 8.75" x 4" and will find in a letter size envelope, which almost everyone has in their home! I also left space on the pull out tag to add a little note to the birthday boy and include some cash.

Tips & Tricks with Trish for making a party successful: Use your creative side to come up with an invitation and use that theme throughout the whole party, such as decorations, goodie bags, maybe even the cake! Having a them makes everything so much easier to coordinate!

Also, Don't forget! There are not 1 but 2 grand prizes that will be award to a follower who comments on ALL the posts....so be sure to enter in for GREAT PRIZES!!

Creative Scraps Challenge Week #5 - Open to the Public!

Creative Scraps Challenge Week #5!!!

Happy Monday Everyone!!!!

This week is our 5th week of Creative Scraps Challenge! Wahoo....I'm so excited that we are still continuing with the challenge week even though I'm SUPER busy with work. It really forces me to be creative and take time for myself to create. :) And creating makes me happy!

So for those of you who are new to Creative Scraps Challenge, here is the break down. (For those of you who follow along, we have changed the schedule up a wee bit to cut down the stress of trying to create so much during the week). Molly (Army Wife Learns the Cricut), Cristi (Scrappin 5 Little Cupcakes) and I will take turns posting our projects throughout the week (except for Thursday). Friday is the day we will post our final project for the week with an added element. Also, on Friday, the very talented Momo (Made by Momo) will join us as our veteran guest designer. You will all then have a chance to participate starting on Friday and we will pick a winner!!

Here is the schedule for this week:

Today: I'll show my project

Tuesday: Cristi will have a project

Wednesday: Molly will have a project

Thursday: OFF

Friday: I'll be posting every one's projects here on my blog!

As a side note, we have been doing 2 Challenge Weeks per month. As of right now we are going to try and keep up with that. If it proves to be too much, we may cut down to 1 week for the month of December since everyone is so busy!

Ok, so for this week our challenge was simple: Use the Smiley Cards Cartridge! I haven't utilized this cartridge at all and I thought it would be a good way to get everyone to use it and get familiar with such a cute cartridge! I also used the "Hugs & Kisses" Stamp from the new Scrappy Mom's Stamp Set "Simple Sentiments"! Wahoo for sneak peaks :)

Some Chit-Chat and Updates!

Hey Everyone!

I cannot believe that the weekend is just about over.....Where do the days go?!?! Back to work tomorrow, ugh to Monday Mornings! LOL So I just wanted to give you guys some updates today.....

1. Madison got her cards and gifts.......She LOVED them!!!!! Bobby and Maria (her parents) were in utter shock of all the cards and goodies that were sent to Madison!! And they were all VERY appreciative of it all. SO THANK YOU to everyone who sent a card and everyone who sent her gifts to keep her company while she continues to go through treatment.

2. Creative Scraps Challenge Week will start Tomorrow! The challenge will be open to everyone on Friday and we are giving away a Country Life Cartridge (Thanks to Dorcas!!) So be sure to check in HERE tomorrow when the challenge starts!

3. December is such a BUSY month!!! Work is SUPER busy with the holiday season going on right now. Every weekend, Jesse and I have something going on. The 5th-Fundraiser for needy senior citizens and our churches Christmas Dinner and Dancing Party. The 11th--My sister-in-law is having a party at her home, the 12th--My in-law's Christmas party!. My mother-in-law is flying in from Canada the 15-29, My parents & sister are flying in the 28-3rd(of Jan). Oh Yeah! And then there is Christmas! And with that comes Shopping, Wrapping, Busy Malls, Christmas cards (30 for my mom and 30 for me--all handmade) **Sigh** I'm exhausted just thinking about it!

4. The last number got too crazy so I decided to start a new number!! LOL Added to all the above, I have 3 Blog Hops this month! Which I super excited about :) Dec.4th--Dorcas is hosting a blog hop! The weekend of Dec. 17th--Linda and Christina are hosting blog hops!..Did i mention December was a busy month?!?!

5. Ok... I think that was all the info I need to post! I'm sorry that this post was not very interesting but I didn't want to forget any information that I need to announce! Hope your weekend was good and you have a great first week of December.

Episode 29- Snowman Action Wobble Card

Hey Everyone!!

Happy Weekend! I'm so glad that it is finally the weekend and I can relax with Jesse :) I'm so excited for today because we are having our family Thanksgiving dinner today at my in-laws house!!! I am in the middle of baking Apple Pie for the festivities. So I got quite a few requests to show how I made the Snowman Action Wooble Cake. So I made a quick video this morning. As I mentioned, this is a card that I found in "Holiday Cards" Magazine.

Also, I am continuing to give you guys sneak peaks for the new Simple Sentiments Stamp Set by Scrappy Mom's!So here is a SUPER simple card that I made using my new Country Life cartridges(thanks to my 2 bff's Cristi & Molly!) This would be a great card for someone who needs a little encouragement or is going through a tough time. Hope you guys enjoy it and have a great weekend :)

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!!

I hope that you all had a fabulous day with friends and family giving thanks! This year was the first year that Jesse and I got to spend thanksgiving together since we have been married(he had to work last year). AND it was the first year I was cooking all on my own. If i do say so myself, I think i did a good job :)

Any who....I've been dying to post this week but had to wait till today for the start of SNEAK PEAK's!!! Scrappy Mom's has done it again with another Must Have stamp set! I'm so excited to show you all!

The card that I made today is a total scrap lift! This card was one of the cards featured in "Holiday Cards" magazine but I had to show it! Its absolutely adorable and to add to the effect.....I used an Action Wobble. I just LOVE these new Action Wooble Springs---OH be sure to "Like" them on Facebook, Search Action Wobble and you wont miss them! Episode 28- Resticking your cricut mat

I hope you guy had a great week and that you all will have a fun filled weekend! Work seemed to go by fast this week...thank goodness =) This weekend is SUPER busy for Jesse and I. Today, we're going to a Medieval Festival (probably my favorite part of history class, so I'm STOKED!) and then shopping at the outlet's mall for a dress for our church's Xmas dinner & dancing. Oh yeah! and Grocery shopping for THANKSGIVING!!!! lol. So I've decided that with my hectic work schedule, I'm promising to post at least twice a week!!! All other post's will be MEGA bonuses! LOL. This will keep me crafty AND keep me from going MIA! hahaha....So here is a video for my second post of the week. :) I hope it's helpful!

Momo's Tuesday Challenge

Hey Everyone,

I hope that you all have had a great start of the week!! Mine has been busy and crazy but what Monday & Tuesday isn't?? Jesse is having very minor surgery on his wrist on Wednesday so that will keep me busy as well, after work is over. His parents get to "babysit" him after the surgery when he is all silly from the anesthesia :)

Anywho.....ONTO Momo's Tuesday Challenge was to create anything with a Turkey on it! Great way to get us in the spirit for Next week's Thanksgiving! (....I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to cook Thanksgiving dinner....alone!! YIKES!) So here is what I came up with. The card base is from Christmas Cards Solution's and the Turkey is from Create a Critter. I also used my brand spankin' new ribbon punch from Stampin' Up! but its a bit hidden from the knot! Sorry.

Lastly, as many of you have seen on Momo, Sarah, Julie, Emma, Pam, and Tammy's blog--the NEW Action Wobble Springs are going to be the next BIG hit in the crafting world! I was lucky enough to be asked to be part of the focus group for this new product. I made Madison's card using the action wobble! However, after our conference call last week (PS.....They have an AMAZING contest that is going to take place sooooo soon! And the prizes....Your will not believe how AWESOME they are!!) I came up with the cutest idea for a card using the Action Wobble! Actually its wobbling right in front of me as i type on my keyboard! LOL I made a video of me creating the card but thanks to the new Call of Duty: Black Ops...there are explosions and shots being fired in the background and I'm going to have make it Closed Captions with fun music! LOL I just can't wait to finish editing the video so I can show you all! Hey Everyone.....

....I am SOOOOOO beyond late on my posts. Again I apologize a MILLION times, but trying to figure out a schedule is sooo hard. So today, I've trapped myself in my crafty corner to create because I really need it! LOL So I'll be creating all day today and I'll be posting throughout the week....for sure!

So, as you guys know, this week our challenge was to use Life is a Beach. Well our added element for yesterday was a color challenge "black, blue, and another color". So this is what I came up with....I hope you guys like it. I'm keeping this short and sweet because I'm on my way to record a video, I KNOW SHOCKER! LOL

Hey Everyone!

I had a VERY fun time with my hubby at the 333rd Squadron--THE SHARKS!!!--Annual Banquet! He had training for most of the 3 days but we did have FUN at night. On Sunday Night, we had our Formal Dinner/ Awards Night. Then on Monday Night ( I MISSED MOMO'S Ustream!!! I was sooooo BUMMED!! lol), we had our Sport's Themed Party!! My hubby got picked from his group to dance in the BIG "Ricky, the Recruiter" Inflatable suit! AND OMG I got it ALL on video and its HILARIOUS! He did SOOOOO well! I'll be sure to post the video up on here soon so you guys can get a GOOD chuckle! And we Finally came home yesterday.....I missed my Fur babies soooo much! LOL Ok....enough about my weekend and all the CAPS!!! LOL

So this post is all about how TRULY blessed I am. I really have some of the most AMAZING people in my life!! The absolute Greatest friends!!!! First, let me say THANK YOU to everyone who sent me a card (and a few small goodies) with such AMAZING words in it--when sending Madison's card! They were totally a SURPRISE and brought such a smile to my face!!

Thank you to Momo, who sent me a overly generous package a few weeks back! She sent me the PRETTIEST Christmas paper!!!!!! And a glitter stack to go along with it! Thank you my friend, your are the sweetest ever and I love ya!!!! xoxoxoxo

I came home today to a package in the mail that came from Cristi and Molly.......THOSE 2 are the SNEAKIEST Blogging besties EVER!!!!!!!!!! Molly totally lied to me and told me she had received her Country Life cartridge.........well it was really a cartridge that the 2 of them had purchased and sent to me!!!! What an absolute Surprise!!! I was floored and so overally excited. Thank you to the both of you..........you both have become some of my best friends! And your too sneaky! LOL

Also...thanks to Julie and Sarah who keep me smiling and laughing with all their texts! I LOVE text messages and they keep me giggling! And involved with new products-----thanks Julie for letting me be part of the Action Wobbles! You girls will always be my Secret Accomplices!

Madison's Card

Hey Y'all, Happy Tuesday!!

Today, I wanted to share with you the card that I made for Madison. But before I do that, I wanted to tell you all

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

I have received OVER 100 cards and at least 25 people sent packages for Madison as well!!! I can not tell you how much this means to me! I am so grateful, from the bottom of my heart, that I have such great blogging friends who posted Maddie's information and then all of you who re- posted on your blog. I appreciate it so much! She is going to love it and her family is so appreciative of everything y'all have done. I will be sending out the packages this afternoon when I get home from Jesse's Air force Annual.

So onto my card:

I was so excited to be asked from "Action Wobbles" to be part of their test group! Thanks JULIE!!! :) So, I finally got the chance to use it! My ice cream is cut from Simply Charmed (I think! lol) and I glittered both scoops and than coated it with Glossy Accents. I thought the cherry's face was appropriate since the top scoop is wobbling. (i always have that problem with 2 scoops, that's why i get a cup too so that I don't loose any of the scoops--LOL). I used the distressed stripe's and ran the cone through twice in a criss-cross and inked around the edges. I also used scraps of decorative paper for my background. And I used the Scrappy Mom's "Sweet Somethings" Stamps.

WAHOOOOOO its Creative Scraps Challenge Week #4!!!

Friday is the day we will post our final project for the week with an added element. Now I must warn you guys.....Cristi and I have been Mojo-less recently so we have decided to just post on Monday and Friday, since we just cant seem to crank out anything that we like. This week we decided to have another Cartridge challenge. And the cartridge is.............Life is a Beach!

So I have been wanted to make a treat pouch like this one for quite some time!!!! I FINALLY got to use my crimper that i have had for a few months but had never touched! LOL And I know some of you are thinking, wait a minute! last week you were making Xmas stuff for mom's challenge and now your making Halloween stuff?!?!?!?? Trust me i know, I'm all kinds of bass-ackwards! LOL So here is what I can up with. I hope you guys like it!

Momo's Tuesday Challenge

Hey Y'all

So today is Momo's Tuesday Challenge and I swear she always challenges me! I love it but it really makes me rack my brain! LOL

This challenge was about embossing, whether it be heat embossing or dry embossing....since for Creative Scraps Challenge (which is still going on, head over to Molly's blog to join in) I used heat embossing, I decided to dry emboss. I love all of the folders and yet barely use them! So I think this was just the type of challenge I needed!!

I totally tried something new....I wanted to utilize more of my scraps so I cut 1" strips of white paper and layed them down on a piece of 5"x4" piece of scrap paper. I used just a very little bit of mono adhesive to hold it down. I than ran my snowflake folder through my epic 6(a machine that's somewhat like a cuttlebug). I removed each strip of paper and inked them in different "Christmas" colors. I apologize, I mean we just got over Halloween and I'm all about Christmas! LOL Anyways, I then reapplied my strips down. I just had to use my Hello Kitty Cartridge again...I just have so much fun with it (image cut at 4", and I Swiss Dots embossed her jacket for a little more dimension)!! Now I finished this card last week and it was missing something so I added some red glitter glue to her bow! And it was the perfect touch! The sentiment is from Scrappy Mom's Stamp Set " Winter Wishes".

Sorry that I have been MIA recently....I'm just enjoying the last days as, how molly puts it, a "Free Woman"! LOL Enjoying the time before I start up on a full time job again! Its been really nice!

Anyways, I wanted to let you all know that i EXTENDED the time that your card/package needs to be shipped for Madison to Monday, Nov.1st! I also wanted to show you guys some pic's and a video from yesterday. I got to enjoy going to another event with my hubby!! He was judging a High School Drill Competition. It was so cool to see all these high school students who are in ROTC and participate in the drill team.

Someone asked if I wouldn't post as much because I now have a job.......I hope not! I'm hoping that on the weekends, I'll have the chance to create and have stuff to show you guys during the week!

Welcome to the "Overly Inspiring" day of the Creative Scraps Challenge and also the "Open to the Public" Day! LOL If your new to our Challenge...here is how it works. Cristi, Molly, and I creative all week long to offer you guys inspiration and to also challenge ourselves and get our butts crafting! :) Then on Friday, we all present a new project with an added element of surprise and have Momo and other Fabulous guest designers to inspire you! You then have until the following Friday (in this weeks case, Nov. 5th) to create and link your projects. And we have some blog candy for you all too :D Sound interesting?!?! This week....our challenge was to create a thank you card but the added element was that you had to either heat emboss or use glitter (and stickles do not count!)--Someone asked me how we come up with our challenges and added elements...we all look around our rooms and see what we're neglecting and pick based on that so that we can utilize all of our stuff!

Here is what I came up with! This set also happens to be the giveaway for this week!!!!

The flowers on my cards were a GREAT deal....I found packs of these flowers at Michael's a few months ago and they were only a $1 for 36 paper flowers and 9 gems. What I did was take one flower of each size and layer them and attach them together with a brad! Love the look it gave! So for the giveaway, you'll get all 6 cards, in the box, with 6 envelopes!

Hey Everyone!!

Happy Hump Day!!! Today is such a FANTASTIC day for me....I'm feeling SOOOO much better (have a bit of a cough that wont go away) but I just feel so much better overall! I also had an interview today and I GOT OFFERED THE JOB ON THE SPOT!!!! So that is why I'm SOOO late posting today, last night I couldn't figure out what to wear and I wanted to be prepared for today. And then this morning I was away for my interview. So, today is my day to post for creative scraps! I'm in this Christmas mood lately. So I thought I'd make a Thank You note for a teacher who receives gifts from her students for Xmas! I was thinking of my best friend Tracey (a chicklet) who is a kindergarten teacher.

I did something different with the ribbon too and I REALLY like how it turned out. All images are cut out from Hello Kitty Greeting. And the boarder punch is from Martha Stewart. Of course, the stamp set is from Scrappy Mom's Stamps!

Hey Everyone!

First let me say THANK YOU to who has been sending me "Get Well Wishes"!!! Its so sweet of you all who have been sending me the get well vibes! LOL Unfortunately.......Last week I was absolutely horrible....I don't think i made it off the couch or out of bed for 4 days straight except to let the dog out, use the bathroom, and grab a drink. LOL Yesterday, I was feeling SO much better....I had picked up around the house and managed to finish a xmas card that has been sitting on my desk for weeks. I even skyped with Cristi and Molly! Then at 11pm....I started to go downhill! The "virus" hit me like a train, I was nauseous, had stomach pains, hot and cold chills. And I woke up this morning feeling the same---I'm so tired of being ill and to think its ALL my Hubby's fault! LOL ANYWHO......

WAHOOOOOO its Creative Scraps Challenge Week #3!!! We took last week off because of Momo's Challenge week AND because week all needed a mini vacation!
For our new followers, Molly (Army Wife Learns the Cricut), Cristi (Scrappin 5 Little Cupcakes) and I will take turns posting throughout the week except for today when we are all posting our projects. Friday is the day we will post our final project for the week with an added element. You will all then have a chance to participate starting on Friday and we will pick a winner!!

So for this week.....our challenge was to create Thank You Cards. I'm totally NOT happy with my card but I wanted to post something. My layers didnt match up but oh well! So here is what I created...

Hey Everyone!

So, after taking care of my hubby for 3 weeks (and he is STILL getting over this virus/cold).....he has OH SO GENEROUSLY passed it onto me! I also think that now that Lauren is feeling better and more creative, she's also shared! LOL Lucky Lucky me huh??? So since I haven't gotten to craft too much recently, I decided to show you some pictures of my family. Normally, I don't really share to many pics because I feel like people are here for my crafts but I have to compensate for me being MIA lol!!

Here is the Sneak Peak #3 for Scrappy Mom's "A Pinch and A Dash"

This card is super simple....doesn't have all of the layers I'm use to but i still think it turned out cute. Be sure to check out the rest of the design teams projects by clicking their names on the right sidebar.

This is the youngest of my two brother in law's testing for his black belt! He did really really well!! He should be finding out soon if he passed!

This is the oldest brother-in-law who transformed our lanai into his painting studio for the afternoon. I had mentioned to him that I wanted a painting to put in my living room and he went straight to work. He is attending an arts college here in Florida and he is a fantastic artist....check out his finished painting for me below.

He used a picture that I showed him online that I liked so he didn't just pull it from his head but I'm LOVING it!

After working for my parents business for 10 years, you get to know your customers pretty well and over time they become more like friends. One of the customers had told me last year that he was thrilled that his niece, Madison, was in remission from Leukemia! Their family was over joyed that such a young girl had beat this vicious cancer (she's only 6 years old). However, just last week, their family was just hit with the most horrific news........Madison's cancer has returned.

Now I personally do not know Madison BUT i'm the type of person who wants to help whenever I can. I know that I cant cure her but I can help with making her day a little better by sending her a card to put a smile on her face. So, this is where i'm hoping to get your help.....i'm hoping to get a TON of cards to cheer up Madison. "Get well" cards and anything that is super girly would be perfect!!! And if you'd like to send a small gift, ex: a barbie or stuffed animal, im sure it would cheer her up and keep her company while she spends the next several weeks in the hospital. I know she loves pink, butterflies, and anything girly.

Scrappy Mom's Sneak Peak

Hey everyone!

So i'm just riding along in the car with my hubby heading to the Airforce Base for appointments. And just realized that I could download a Blogger App on my new phone!!!!! Wahoooooo!!!!!!! The only thing I can't do is rotate pictures :( so please just touch ur ear to your shoulder and ull be able to see the picture correctly! Lol.

Unfortunately, I can only post one picture so to see the new FABULOUS stamp set by Scrappy Mom's, click HERE!

So this is what I came up with!!!!! I used 2 layers of UTEE on the jar portion. That's why it looks super shiny but the color looks dull. It was the look I was looking for. And I used fabric on the top with braiding cord around it. When I see jam for sale at craft fairs- I always see fabric over the lids for a decorative look....so I followed along and applied it to my card. :) Hope you guys like it!!!!

I absolutely LOVE all of their stamp sets and the sentiments are just perfect for ANY project!! I can't believe it......I really can't believe I made it! This helps me in believing that my work is good enough, even though sometimes i think differently! Who would of thought....a few weeks back when Sarah (Live, Love, Scrap!) and I were harassing Mel (Scrappy Mel) about wanting to be on the design team, that we would actually get the chance to try out and BOTH make it!!!! Its an awesome feeling and I can't wait to start creating more projects with their stamps! Thank you again, soooooo much, Mel and Tammy!! You two ladies are the GREATEST!

My hubby is off today so we are spending some time together now that he is feeling a bit better but we found of from the orthopedic surgeon that he has a cyst in his wrist and will have microscopic surgery to remove it. I swear in this house, if its not the dog and cat that are sick....its Jesse! LOL Oh well, that's part of the roll of being a wife, taking care of everyone in the house!

Momo's Birthday Blog Hop Bash!!!

HELLO EVERYONE!!!!!

I'm so glad that you ALL have joined us today to celebrate Momo's birthday with a Birthday Blog Hop Bash!! I had the opportunity this week to meet THE one and only Momo and treat her to lunch for her birthday and I honestly had the absolute GREATEST TIME! She has seriously been a crafting idol of mine ever since I began stalking blogs in December of '09, so to meet her was Amazing!

I am so incredibly honored to be part of this blog hop and not just because it is for Momo's Birthday but because I can honestly say that some of my closest blogging friends are part of this and people who's work inspire me day to day! I mean you have the all around diva Momo, the scrapbooking queen Lauren, the fabulous Scrappy Mom's Mel & Tammy, my blogging besties Molly & Cristi, my secret accomplices Julie & Sarah ;), and the list just goes on and on and on!!! Ok, so enough of my mumbo jumbo...i tend to ramble a lot, i need to fix that! LOL Ok so I had a bit of a tough time with this because Julie showed me her project early this week and its FABULOUS and I wanted to create something extra special for this hop but my mojo was long gone after last night/this morning ordeal. I started thinking of people's birthdays and thought of my SISTER!! She is turning the BIG 17 in March, which means she will get her license and can drive SOLO in the state of New Jersey....MAJORLY SCARY THING! I remember changing her diapers! lol....So, I decided to create an invitation for her birthday! And its oh so fitting! Everything on this screams my sister! Creative Scraps Challenge Week #2- "Open to the Public"

Good Morning Everyone!!

It has been an extremely LONG day!! As some of you may know...my hubby has been ill all week long and the last few days have gotten worse. So tonight I took him to the ER because he hasn't eaten or drank any more than 2 glasses of water, 5 spoons of applesauce, and 3 bites of jell-o in the last 3 days. So they had to put 2 litters of fluids through an IV just because he was so dehydrated. The reason I'm telling you this is because it is now 2am, and I just completed my card! LOL I took him to the ER 9pm, didn't get home till 12.15am, and i am now done my card at 2am! LOL Thank goodness for sleeping in tomorrow! Ok so ENOUGH of my blabbering....(I'm sure some will ask so--my hubby was doing much better when he left the ER tonight, still had a minor sore throat but he is on antibiotics for it, he just needs rest which he is getting now :))

PS.....I chose this girl because she reminded me of the way my Mom would dress me as a kid! I always had a dress or skirt and blouse on and ALWAYS had a big bow in my hair! I especially remember one birthday where i was dressed just like this but my dress had a black top with an orange skirt to it. I wanted to replicate it but it reminded me too much of Halloween! Creative Scraps Challenge Week #2- Post 2

Good Morning and Happy Hump Day Everyone!!

We are half way through the week and I'm feeling FANTASTIC!!! I not only finished all my rehearsal dinner invites that I had to make for my etsy order BUT I also met my Card Making Idol Yesterday....the one and only MOMO!!!! Now I have to admit, I was a wee bit nervous at first---I mean I've been stalking Momo's blog since the end of December and she has really been my creative inspiration and the one who pushed me to start my blog and start video's and she and my hubby pushed me to start etsy! BUT after the jitters were out, we just talked non stop for 2 hours (like we've been childhood friends) while we ate lunch and had dessert. It was a blast and we will be getting together very soon!! Here are a few pictures of us out together!

And as I said on my FB fan page....if you think she is sweet on her video's or ustream...just wait till you meet her!!! Shoot....Momo, I forgot to get your autograph! LOL Just Kidding! :)

Oh wait a minute....we have a challenge going on today don't we?!?! LOL

So if you guys have been following along, you know that this week is all about Birthdays! So I made another kid-ish card with my Hello Kitty Greetings Cartridge! Now all the pieces for her legs didn't look right with the card feature so i had to do a bit of cutting myself but I think it turned out cute in the end! I also HATED the bunny on her head so I cut it off and used the face cutout from a different page! :) I've glossified the icing and teal-berries on the cake too! And I was a bit bummed because i was masking my stamp and when i stamped "Cake" it didn't place right where i wanted it :( { But the stamps as you all know are from Scrappy Moms Stamps!! Can't wait to get my order in the mail! Hopefully soon!!!} Oh well, I still think its cute!!

This card was TOTALLY inspired by Momo's work. I went crazy with the board punch layered and got some buttons on the card!! The cupcake is from the Simply Charmed cartridge and its cut at 4". The tag was just hand cut AND of course I'm using the Scrappy Mom's "Sweet Somethings" stamp set! If you have been waiting to get some of their stamps....they just put together a bundle pack for all 7 of their stamp sets! You should seriously look into it because these stamps are fantastic!!! I just ordered 2 more from them, Charmed Life and Winter Wishes....cant wait to get them!!!

I have been itching to do another Blog Hop since I did the Back to School Blog Hop so I was HONORED that Steph asked me to be part of this one! :) There will be 11 crafty ladies (including myself) along the blog hop with TONS of great projects!!! Ok so onto my project for the hop! I kept is super simple....its been a bit of a chaotic weekend (Thank Goodness for my m.w.bff, Molly who brought me back down to "Scrapping" earth hehehe) and I was trying to finish a mini I've been working on but it just didn't work on in my favor. So, I created these cute little candy holders to give to trick or treaters!!!!

For this project I used the Pillow Box from the Wedding Solutions cartridge. (Got the cartridge with cricut rewards points and mainly for this pillow box!) I just love it, it can be used for SOOOO many different things and occasions. Of course, the cute little mummy and candy corn girl is from Mini Monsters (and her face is from non-other than Everyday Faces from Peachy Keen). AND OF COURSE, both sentiments are from the Scrappy Mom's "A Haunting we will Go" Stamp set! I use these stamps WAY too much but they are just perfect with your Cricut projects and non-Cricut projects.....and they have 7 different sets!!! {How am I doing Mel??? Am I selling it or what?!?! LOL.....BIG Shout out to Scrappy Mel who deals with Sarah(Live, Love, and Scrap!) and I always harassing her about us wanting to be part of the design team for their stamps! But we cant help it...we just LOVE their stamps)}

So my project was SUPER simple but I think it turned out pretty cute!! And I think the kids will really like it! This is the first time Jesse (my hubby) and I have lived in a "neighborhood", so we're hoping to get trick or treaters to hand these out to!

Now off to the FANTASTIC Sonia from Archiving Angel for another super project!

.....the crafting train that is! LOL I've been off on my mojo and haven't had any energy to record videos but i really need to get on it because I've been getting comments that you all have been missing my "techniques". So i promise I'll be back soon...I've also been trying to finish invitations so its been a crazy. Anyways....I had a FANTASTIC time on the Ustream Live last night with Momo and all the girls!!! I can't believe that I actually got in front of the camera LOL i was getting all kinds of nervous, so i apologize because I was probably super quiet. I also wanted to THANK YOU ALL who have helped Momo reach her 1,000 followers before she hit her 1year blogiversary!!! Its just amazing!!

Welcome to Creative Scraps Sunday Challenge!!!

Good Morning Everyone!! First of all I want to thank you all who have been following along all week, going from blog to blog, with our Creative Scraps Challenge Week!! I know that the three of us have definitely challenged ourselves and I hope that we have inspired you all in some way! I also want to thank my two great friends, Cristi and Molly, for joining in on this idea i have had bouncing in my brain for a few weeks now!! You two are crazy and great for doing this with me :)

Now, if you have been following around all week, you know that our challenge was to creative Halloween or Fall Projects strictly using the Paper Dolls Dress Up Cricut Cartridge!! Trust me when I say we struggled some nights trying to figure out what to make! LOL However, for today's added element...we HAD to incorporate Ribbon some how on our project!

So lets get onto the projects........oh wait a minute---Wanna know who our Special Guest Designers are?!?!?!? Well....we have one of Cristi's Best friends and a Fantastic Crafter, Dorcas from 4CraftyAngels, and a very good friend of mine who is VERY well known :), Momo from Made by Momo. We are so honored that you two have joined us for our very first Creative Scraps Sunday Challenge! Thank You!! (The two of them used Everyday Paper Dolls Cartridge in their projects)

And here is mine! I used the cornucopia from PDDU on page 63. And then used a ribbon pleating technique that I saw a while back but found Momo use it in one of her older videos. To get the shading and coloring on my fruits, I used a blender pen and my ink pads from Stampin' Up! I've really started to LOVE using the blender pen! I also inked up the edges of the cornucopia.

Friday Challenge Day

TGIF Everyone!!!! And Good Morning!!

I didn't really want to be up at 8:30am but my hubby and my body didn't want me to sleep any longer(lol) so I figured I'd get up and get a move on it! hahahaha. Today is my day to provide "inspiration" for our Creative Scraps Challenge Week!

First---I want to thank you all who have been bouncing around from blog to blog each day to see what we're creating AND to be inspired. And for leaving comments.....comments motivate us! I also want to thank everyone who has gone over to Molly's blog and become a follower and left the sweetest comments. She really does appreciate it and it puts a smile on her face.

OK Enough of that...onto my card for the day! This style was totally inspired by Momo @ Made by Momo's , who created the most adorable Christmas card with a penguin on it!! Be sure to go check her out, although I'm sure all of you found me through her so you've probably seen that naughty little penguin ;) Like I said the card style (easel) was inspired by her. The stamp set is from no other than Scrappy Mom's (if you guys haven't seen their stamps or want to order be sure to head over and check them out. Trust me, you wont be disappointed). As you know the challenge is to create a Halloween/Fall Project using Paper Dolls Dress Up--on Sunday, we'll have an added element! Just to spice things up!

The only thing that is not on Paper Dolls Dress Up is the goo coming out of the pot. That is the "gooey" boarder punch by Martha Stewart. This adorable witches shoe laces are braiding cord and her face come from PK Everday Faces.

Just thought I'd show you what a mess my desk is! Momo would freak out if she saw this!!!!! Hahahah I've not only been working on challenge stuff this week but also invitations for an order on etsy....hence the huge mess!

I'm late for a very important date!!! I'm so sorry everyone that i haven't posted today......Gem (my puppy) was throwing up all night and I was watching her closely this morning while cleaning around the house and than took her and Link to the vet to see whats going on with the two of them. So I forgot all about posting in the Chaos!!!

Ok.....onto my card for the day. I really wanted to make something to show my true appreciation for a follower who is always leaving me comments and who sends me emails!! She is just absolutely phenomenal!!! And I couldn't think of another better way than to dedicate my post and card today for this person! ---Now thank you so much to everyone who leaves comments, I appreciate them more than I can say!!---

Now for the Reveal of My card!

And I just LOVE how this card turned out!! The Shoes are cut from the Wedding Solute Cartridge. The Purple Foil Paper came from my awesome friend Momo (From Made by Momo)--she sent me a stack of all different paper when I moved to Florida :) Of Course, As you've guessed, the Stamp is from "Scrappy Mom's Sweet Somethings" Stamp Set! And I changed it up a bit with a Boarder Punch up top (nope that was a mistake of me cutting the paper too small but finding a solution!! LOL)
